2019 Trip
After rather stressful and disruptive 2 1/2 years, with all the surgeries and Medical appointments,  we both needed mental health break, to get away from suburbia.  So we packed up the coaster the jeep and with two Dalmatians as well as the bloody cat, we hit it off for a five month limited 3 move camping trip around Northern & central Victoria.

High Country Photoshoot December 2015 to January 2016 and November 2016 through March 2017.

​The second phase of trip was cut short due to a serious Motorbike accident on my birthday.  
This required my being Air Lifted out by Helicopter to the Alfred Trauma Hospital in Melbourne.

An unfortunate Accident​

  • ​​I was airlifted out from the High Country by Air Ambulance Chopper and flown to the Alfred Trauma Hospital, where it was initially missed that I had Fractured my right shoulder and broken both the Tibia  and Fibula in the left leg at the ankle. All they picked up on was the gaping \open wound above his left ankle, which required Plastic Surgery. 
  • Subsequently, I was discharged after the Plastics Team had done their job and sent back to the bush with two broke.n bones.  
    ​‘The mistakes was eventually picked up on and I have had four operations since to try and correct the damage.  These operations have left me with severe nerve damage in the left foot ,  At this stage. It seems highly likely that I will require a Total left ankle replacement. 
  •  The healing process was supposed to taken 6 to 8 weeks;  however after being discharged home (unattended) by the Alfred Hospital, they again failed in their “Duty of Care” which resulted in a fall down a flight of stairs.  This fall placed me back into Hospital, this time at the Wonthagi Hospital  with a broken neck and a deep laceration above the right eye.​​
