A HERITAGE RESTORATION PROJECT

THAT IS A TRUE LABOUR OF LOVE FOR

ALL THOSE INVOLVED.

The Project is underfunded or should I say is Not being Funded by either the Victorian State Government or Parks Victoria..  Neither the Government nor the Department responsible for the area have provided any funds.  It would seem that if left to the Authorities, treasures such as this, would be left to rot and rust away.  
​The Project is only going forward due to the Fund raising efforts and the dedication, hardwork and enthusiasm of the volunteers.  Men who have invested not only their time but also their own money into restoring this magnificent piece of machinery.  An important part of our States Heritage, having played a vital part in our History.
This one is the only one still in existence.  Of the two that were shipped to Australia from England this one survived, whereas the other was destroyed
