Nimbin MardiGrass is held every year in May and Aussie Beach TV have attended for the past 3 years.
In 2014, Kaeh Mate (Ganga Fairy) and Jess (Sexy Cop) hit the festival and made plenty of best buds. They had the opportunity to interview politicians, doctors, activists, patients, tourists, business owners and recreational cannabis users. People from all walks of life use cannabis and hemp and attend the festival each year to protest the laws that prohibit it’s uses and applications in western society. While we were there Kaeh placed 2nd in the gruelling Irongrowers event in the Hemp Olympics and won some great prizes to take home.
Well just days ago, the NSW government has just announced it will fund three trials of medical cannabis aimed at children with severe epilepsy, adults with terminal illness and people with nausea induced by chemotherapy. The NSW government is also instructing police not to charge adults with terminal illness who use marijuana, or their carers. Hundreds of people are expected to be included in the three trials which are the first of their kind in Australia. Finally, Australian citizens are going to have a legal, natural alternative to pharmaceuticals when they desperately need it. Unfortunately many others will be denied treatment for their ailments as the government still fails to recognise the plants wholistic health benefits.

Bikini Babes Say NO to GMO's and Monsanto
The gorgeous Latesha McGann (we call her Tesh) recently traveled to Reddacliffe Place in Brisbane with the Aussie Beach TV crew and attended the “March Against Monsanto”. People from all walks of life had gathered near Queen Street Mall to protest and raise awareness about the corporation known as Monsanto. This same corporation that built it’s empire by producing and marketing chemicals designed to kill plant life, is now being trusted to create genetically modified crops with the chemicals built into the genes of the plant. That’s right, corporate franken-food designed for YOU and YOUR FAMILY! Monsanto (known in Australia as “Yates”) were first known for developing Agent Orange which was widely used in the Vietnam War as a way to expose the enemy by de-foliaging the trees concealing the Viet Cong troops below. It also poisoned and killed their crops. The birth defects in Vietnam were evident soon after and the Australian veterans who were exposed to these chemicals reported much higher rates of illness including cancer and birth defects in their children as a result. Western governments tend to have an exclusive agreement with Monsanto as illustrated by US President Barrack Obama signing the “Monsanto Protection Act” and local councils regularly use the highly controversial weed killer “Round Up” which contains ‘glysophate’. Here on the Gold Coast activists point to glysophate as the cause of the disappearance of the sea grasses in the Southport Broadwater. The council spray this toxic substance and it finds it’s way into the cities’ waterways poisoning anything in it’s path. Well now, this toxic chemical company want to take control of the world’s food supply by introducing crops with the poison built right into the gene so the bugs won’t eat it. Genetically modified organisms, better known as GMO’s are being touted as the future of food, capable of feeding the hungry and making us all healthier in the process. Yes, the same GMO’s that are responsible for sterility in all laboratory animals tested after a few generations! So Latesha and the Aussie Beach TV crew swung into action at the event to ask protesters why they decided to attend. Here are two videos that document what happened….
Footy VS Freedom
From Footy... Yeah yeah my team was out a while ago (Go Broncos?!!? lol... so I'm out for this year. Next year, who knows? Never say die!) ...we come to Freedom. Certainly freedom is to some, what footy is to others. You know that feeling of being in a crowd of fans and screaming your guts out, cheering on your team? Sometimes, being inside this matrix of a system whilst being 'awake' makes me want to scream my guts out. Have a look at their latest effort to rip our freedoms from us,

Anti-Terror legislation...
Late Thursday night the Senate passed the National Security Amendment Bill (No.1) 2014. That's right; it's been under 2 weeks since the national terror alert was raised to high, and here we have ready made legislation? Doesn't it take 12 months or so to draw this stuff up? You betcha it does!
We are nearly 800% MORE LIKELY to die at the hands of police than be killed by a 'terrorist' event in Australia. Why is it then, that new ANTI TERRORIST legislation is being hurried through giving ASIO officers (POLICE) MORE power??? More power to the tune of unprecedented power to monitor the entire Australian web essentially with only one warrant. How UNAustralian is that? It's not just ASIO officers that will have open slather, non accountable access to every damn thing you've ever done online. No, access will ALSO be able to be granted to anyone involved in Special Intelligence Operations. That's a whole range of people. AND WITH bipartisan parliamentary support! (when does that happen?!) The only Senators to oppose the Bill were the Greens, LDP Senator David Leyonhjelm, DLP Senator John Madigan and Independent Senator Nick Xenophon. The bill passed 44-12
The Australian people need protection from the state built into the laws and that is what they quietly got rid of on Thursday.
I'm not going to go over every detail of the last few weeks of political events (read stunts) that seem to have us in 'TERRORIST ATTACK IMMINENT!' mode, good grief, it'd take forver. However I will point out a couple of interesting details.
Australian Federal Police recently apologized to a woman at Sydney Airport who's luggage was damaged and was handed a replacement suitcase containing 230 grams of plastic explosives. So, how HIGH IS THEIR alert level if a random member of the public just happened to have 'accidently' been handed a bag with explosives? If WE are supposed to be on HIGH terror alert, how come the feds aren't? And just what WAS that bag of explosives doing at Sydney Airport in the first place? Police say it was left behind from training exercises.
Was There REALLY A Plot To Behead A Member Of The Public On Live Television?
When a friend told me of this supposedly foiled plot to behead a member of the public, live on tv, I said "If you saw it on tell-lie-vision, then it's probably a lie"
Ok, so let's check out the validity of this bit of fear porn. The police foiled a plot (there's ya first clue!) The Australian newspaper, The Daily Telegraph, the ABC, News.com.au and a few others, ALL reported similar to "...understands police will allege that planning had begun to kidnap a random person from the streets of Sydney's CBD, behead them and drape them in the Islamic State flag" Understand? Alledge? Neither are concrete words that mean anything definitive, but the effect on our population was exactly what they were after; FEAR.
"Police stress that this investigation remains active with the principle focus on community safety and preventing any form of terrorist activity on Australian soil" touts News.com.au Really? It wouldn't have ANYTHING to do with gaining support for the anti-terror legislation that must have been in the works for a year, would it?
Surprise surprise, in the few days following the reports of the 'live beheading plan foiled' reports, Katherine Murphy of the Guardian newspaper, came out with this little gem in her article "The acid test: Australian journalists must ask what agenda they serve" ...
"A number of reports this week had more in common with a graphic novel or a Marvel comic than anything that actually rang true in the real world. Compounding the beat-ups and the breathlessness, we’ve seen the return of “men of Middle Eastern appearance” doing nefarious things. It should be pointed out that some of the things they were claimed to be “doing” have later been retracted"
So, when even the journos are telling us 'Hey, we're full of shit' why oh why would anyone still tune into tell-lie-vision or any other corporate controlled media??? Turn it all off. Love and support your footy team, of course, but how about loving and supporting our freedoms too!

There are several grass roots, citizen groups out there that are trying to bring awareness to the issue. "We Are Change" is a movement that is committed to 9-11 truth.

One thing is for sure, there is a big difference between a body art enthusiast and a hardened career criminal. Body art enthusiasts come from many different walks of life and are not to be accused of "pre-crimes". Only an apathetic public would tolerate such behaviour from security companies but with pressure coming from Liquor Licensing and local police forces, the situation is being exposed by Aussie Beach TV as another example of the totalitarian police state we live in.
One licensed venue in Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise was threatened with regular 30 minute police checks with up to 15 officers at a time choking their venue if they failed to implement the tattoo ban. Many Surfers Paradise venues feel they have been targetted by Police in a much publicised zero tolerance approach which YOU asked for... One young officer said, "the public have asked for more police presence, so we are here to keep the public safe from troublesome drunks". Unfortunately, this approach combined with the push for more anti-bikie laws, has turned into a regular witch hunt.

In a move to designed catch out hospitality staff who may or may not be serving intoxicated customers, undercover police have been secretly filming patrons' behavior whilst drinking at licensed venues.
